About the Company:
Black Door Photography offers photography coverage in the Washington, DC metro area and beyond to include event coverage, commercial photography, location portraiture, and artistic imagery. The owner/photographer has roots in Northern California and has lived throughout the United States experiencing and documenting the people and places he's visited. He draws upon his experiences in those sub-cultures of America to bring out the uniqueness of the different subjects of his photography.

I try to portray every day beauty in my photos. People are in such a rush all the time, and they miss the small things in life. I want people to see every day things in a different light. A simple hubcap or pile of empty paint buckets can be visually stunning. I don’t do this because it is a job, or a great living; I do it because of the joy it brings me and others.
